The Workplace

Werksta Haninge is looking for an experienced glazier with solid experience in mechanics and sheet metal work. You will become an important part of our workshop, where quality, safety, and customer focus define our daily operations. We repair and replace windows on passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, as well as performing sheet metal and mechanical work related to glass damage.

You will be working with

  • Assembly, disassembly, and replacement of windshields, side windows, and rear windows on various vehicle models.
  • Repair or adjustment of sheet metal parts in connection with glass damage, including simpler sheet metal work and finishing.
  • Performing mechanical actions related to windows, such as adjustments of frames, seals, and mounts.
  • Assessing damage, preparing cost estimates, and documenting work in the workshop system.
  • Collaborating closely with colleagues in the workshop, customer reception, and site manager to plan and prioritize jobs.
  • Customer contact during pickup/delivery and providing explanations regarding completed work when necessary.
  • Ordering and handling spare parts and materials, as well as ensuring correct inventory management for glass and consumables.
  • Following the workshop's routines for safety, working environment, and quality, as well as participating in improvement work.

Your Profile

We are looking for you with several years of experience as a glazier or vehicle mechanic with a focus on glass and sheet metal. You are meticulous, practical, and accustomed to working efficiently at a workshop pace. Experience in sheet metal work and mechanics is a requirement or a strong asset. You thrive in a team, communicate clearly with customers and colleagues, and maintain good order while documenting your work correctly.

  • Practical experience with the replacement and installation of automotive glass, as well as knowledge of sealing and adhesive routines.
  • Experience with simpler sheet metal work and mechanical adjustments related to glass installations.
  • Accustomed to working in a workshop and documenting work in workshop systems; experience with MPS or similar is advantageous.
  • Structured, service-oriented, and solution-focused with good teamwork skills.
  • A Category B driver's license is an advantage depending on the scope of the tasks.
